May 10    Regular monthly meeting. Tiny's Restaurant 12:00  Come early if you wish
                to order food and socialize. Speaker will be Marian Lantz, CASA
                Coordinator for Northern Gila County.

May 14      March – Bans Off Our Bodies Day of action to let the world know we will not take
                  this attack on Women’s Rights silently. This is scheduled for 10am – 12pm on
                  the corner from MacDonald’s to Safeway, highway 260. This is the time for all of us                        who support women’s rights to make our voices heard. Park on the highway side
​                  of the parking lot in front of The Beverage Place about 9:45am.


May 21      11am – 2pm annual potluck picnic at Green Valley Park ramada 4 near the
                  bandstand. We have lined up candidates to come and share with you their goals
                  and ideas for the next administration. Congressman Tom O’Halleran, Kris Mayes,
                  perhaps Superintendent Kathy Hoffman and more. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers
                  will be provided. Sign up for a dish at the back table so we don’t have duplicates.
                  We also need someone with a pickup truck to bring the grill to the picnic and take it
​                  back home again.

June 12    11:30am – 2pm, Mother’s Activists Day lunch hosted by the Gila County Dems.                             Speakers are Felicia French on her work on the Navajo Nation, and Candidate Aaron                   Lieberman for Governor.
                 Tickets: $40 before June 6th, $50 after June 6th and at the door. 

June 19   9am – 1pm – Juneteenth: A march to support the final emancipation of enslaved                            peoples. Assembly before the march at 8:30am location still to be determined. End                        point of the march is Rumsey Park ramada 4, for a picnic. Again this is a potluck with                    grilled hotdogs, hamburgers and MAYBE spareribs provided. Looking for people to
                also sign up for dishes so we don’t have duplicates. Possibly candidates at this
​                event also.
