Democrats of Rim Country take to the air on KMOG to talk about Democratic                           values and accomplishments. Tune in to FM103.3 / AM1420. Call in with questions                       and comments! This is to be a monthly event.

SATURDAYS     Donuts with Dems weekly meeting at the HQ (110 E. Bonita Street) from 10:00                               am to noon. Good conversation and a chance to connect with your neighbors.

July 17                   Good Trouble Demonstration - 9:00 am near the Courthouse

July 19                   Donuts with Dems, followed by training on Deep Canvassing from noon to                                       4:00. Please sign up so we will know how much pizza to buy!

July 26                    Donuts with Dems. There will be a bake sale at this meeting, organized by                                     the Democrats of Rim Country Women's Caucus to benefit the Warming                                         Center. We have learned that the Center is in danger of closing, leaving                                         many homeless with no safe place to sleep and without food.

August 2                  Mark your calendar for this special meeting of Donuts with Dems. We are                                      pleased to announce that our representative,  Walt Blackman, will visit to talk                                  about ESA Vouchers. We have invited our School Board members to attend                                  this discussion. Mr. Blackman has hinted that he is not in favor of the current                                  voucher system, so this is a rare opportunity to talk to him directly about our                                  concerns over this program and its negative effect on our local schools.
Isela Blanc, a former state legislator who is currently with the Arizona                                              Education Association, graciously arranged this meeting and will accompany                                  Mr. Blackman.

August 9                  Donuts with Dems. Guest speaker, Derrick Espadas, candidate for Arizona                                    Corporation Commission
