Democrats of Rim Country meets every Saturday for donuts and coffee; we’ve become known as the Donut Army. If you worry about the attempt to undermine our Constitution, we encourage you to show up, speak up, team up, and never give up. We meet at 110 E. Bonita every Saturday. Washington switchboards are reportedly overwhelmed with phone calls so it is very difficult to get through to voice your concerns. If you can’t spend hours dialing, you can email or write an actual snail mail letter. Send it Certified so someone has to sign for it. Email daily. Keep the switchboards flooded with calls on an ongoing basis. The administration is counting on us to give up. Don’t do it.
Five Calls is an app you can download and it will give you phone numbers and easy-to-use suggestions on what to say.
Submit a FOIA request to DOGE, demanding that they provide information on any and all records DOGE has downloaded that pertain to you personally.
​Pay special attention to the special elections in Florida and New York. Contribute money if you can. Volunteer to phone bank; anyone from anywhere can do that. If Democrats win, it will make a difference and remember, one never knows when a seat may become vacant and we can tip the balance in our favor. 
Attend local town council meetings. Request to speak if you wish, or just show up to make it clear that you are paying attention. It matters.
If you can, attend protests, even those in Phoenix. Showing up in numbers sends a reminder that We, the People, are the source of power

Contribute money if you can. Support the ACLU, The Southern Poverty Law Center, The Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest, and Democracy Forward or other organizations fighting in courts across the US.
 
Make them accountable. Don’t say Trump. Say "republicans." The republicans put him in office so they are responsible for the harm he does. 
Support legitimate news media by subscribing. 
Fact check. Do not spread fake news.
Tell Visa it must not enter into a financial services arrangement with Musk or any of his companies.
Nestlé is one of the most corrupt corporations on the planet. They have been accused of exploiting child labor, pumping out toxic water in communities, overcharging consumers for what the planet provides for free, and controlling a massive portion of the global food supply.
They rake in billions while people struggle to afford basic necessities.
